I modelled and
textured the buildings and props (except the cars which are from
Turbosquid) in the foreground in these scenes. It was to help train
fire officers to organise their crews and deal with problems that
arise in these situations. There could be dozens of fire crews and
vehicles on site at anyone time.
The simulators engine only supports colour texture maps. So no Bump,
Specular, etc.I try to use tiling textures. For instance the brick
work is a tiling texture rather than a unique texture sheet. The
windows are repeated. The polygon count is low.
